Five Take: Geometric

Hello!! Its Five Take time, this week we're doing Geometric....I panicked a bit at first as my mind automatically went to the classic black and white print....

Simply Be - £45.00

With nothing resembling this in my wardrobe, I put this weeks challenge to the back of my thoughts, thinking I might have to raid my mums wardrobe and see if she had anything. Then on Friday I popped into Primark for a couple of cheap bits to cheer me up, I got a cute navy top with a double peter pan collar and a lovely floaty navy patterned top.

It wasn't until the next day that I put the patterned top on to go for an afternoon cuppa and cake session with my girls that I realised that this in fact was geometric (yes I'm *that* stupid) I think I had black and white so firmly in my minds eye that it didn't occur to me that of course it could be different colours and its the reoccurring pattern that makes it geometric.

Geometric Print Blouse - Primark (available in store)
Jeans - Littlewoods
Blazer - Dorothy Perkins (past season)
Pumps - Littlewoods (past season)
Bag - Vintage

This was quite a grown up look for me, I love the detail to the collar and lightweight fabric, so floaty and comfortable!

Head on over to the other ladies to see how they tackled Geometric.....

    1. Thanks Tracey, its a rare primark find as nothing fits me in there usually, but if the cut is generous I can get away with a 20... just! xx

    1. Keep your mitts to yourself!! Its great though, there's a great vintage shop in Hull I've just re-discovered, I remember going as a student, but totally forgot it was there. Went in the other day, its brilliant!! Its got a few marks on the leather but I think that just adds to the quality!! xx

    2. A few scuffs and marks on things add character and tell a bit of a story too! That's the great thing about leather over plastic it lasts a lot longer and still looks great when its older.

  7. That is a really cute top! Love how you styled it too. The bag is gorgeous. I haven't had too much luck with vintage bags, unfortunately.
